Job Summary

The Emergency Physician is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, stabilizing, and treating patients with acute illnesses, trauma, and medical emergencies. The role ensures timely, high-quality emergency care while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
Assess and manage emergency and trauma patients.
Perform emergency procedures and life-saving interventions.
Stabilize critically ill patients and coordinate referrals/admissions.
Interpret diagnostic investigations and initiate appropriate treatment.
Maintain accurate medical records and medico-legal documentation.
Collaborate with consultants, nursing staff, and allied healthcare specialists.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and infection control practices.

Qualifications
MBBS with MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
Valid Medical Council registration.
ACLS/BLS certification preferred.
