Job Summary:

The Fabrication Welder is responsible for cutting, fitting, fabricating, and welding metal components according to engineering drawings and production requirements. The role ensures high-quality workmanship while following safety standards and meeting production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Cut, grind, fit, and assemble metal parts before welding.
Fabricate machine frames, structures, and sheet metal components.
Inspect welds for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy.
Operate welding machines, cutting tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment safely.
Repair defective welds and rework components when required.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of welding tools and equipment.
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area (5S).




Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet delivery schedules.
Report material shortages, equipment issues, or quality concerns to the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
ITI Welder, Fabricator, Fitter, or equivalent qualification.
1–5 years of experience in fabrication and welding.
Experience in industrial machinery or engineering fabrication is preferred.

Required Skills:
Ability to read fabrication drawings.
Measuring and marking skills.
Metal cutting and grinding techniques.
Attention to detail and quality.
Knowledge of welding safety standards.
Teamwork and time management.
Basic troubleshooting of welding equipment.

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday (as per company policy)
