Operate and monitor the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure proper collection, treatment, and disposal of industrial wastewater.
Check and record operating parameters such as pH, TDS, flow, pressure, and chemical dosage.
Prepare and dose treatment chemicals as per process requirements.
Monitor pumps, blowers, agitators, clarifiers, filters, and other ETP equipment.
Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of ETP machinery.
Maintain daily logbooks, shift reports, chemical consumption records, and water analysis reports.
Collect influent and effluent samples for laboratory testing.
Ensure treated water meets CPCB/SPCB environmental norms before discharge or reuse.
Report any equipment malfunction, abnormal conditions, or process deviations immediately.




Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in the ETP area.
Follow all safety procedures and use PPE while handling chemicals and operating equipment.
Assist during environmental audits, inspections, and compliance documentation.
Support sludge handling, dewatering, storage, and disposal activities as per statutory requirements.
Minimize water wastage and optimize chemical consumption for effective plant operation.
Coordinate with the production and maintenance departments for uninterrupted ETP operations.
Ensure compliance with company environmental policies and applicable legal requirements.
Perform any other duties assigned by the ETP Incharge or Plant Head.
