Role Description The Freelance Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. This role involves editing raw video footage into polished deliverables for digital campaigns, social media, and branded content. Day-to-day tasks include assembling clips, trimming and sequencing shots, adding transitions and effects, syncing audio, and ensuring smooth pacing aligned with project objectives.

Editor will collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to interpret briefs, apply brand guidelines, and adapt content for various platforms.





Responsibilities also include basic color adjustments, exporting and organizing files, maintaining project archives, and meeting deadlines for multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications

Solid video editing skills with experience in Video Editing and Video Production tools.

Proficiency in visual refinement, including Video Color Grading for consistent and appealing output.

Ability to create engaging visual elements using Motion Graphics and Graphics for digital content.

Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).

Solid understanding of aspect ratios, codecs, and formats for social media and web publishing.

Good sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and audio-visual synchronization.

Ability to follow creative direction, incorporate feedback constructively, and work effectively in an on-site, collaborative workplace.

Relevant experience in digital or marketing-focused video projects; a strong portfolio showcasing previous work is highly beneficial.
