Role Description This full-time, on-site Freight Forwarding – Post Shipment – Junior position is based in Mumbai. The role involves managing post-shipment activities, including tracking consignments, coordinating documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of exports. The team member will update shipment status in internal systems, communicate with customers, carriers, and overseas offices, and resolve routine operational issues.

Daily tasks include verifying freight and export documents, following up on cargo movement, and supporting compliance with company and regulatory procedures.



The role requires close collaboration with senior operations staff to maintain service quality and support smooth freight forwarding operations.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills related to Freight Forwarding, with a basic understanding of logistics processes and documentation.

Candidates should possess skills in Export operations, including familiarity with export procedures, shipping documents, and regulatory requirements.

Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, responsiveness, and the ability to manage customer expectations.

Candidates should possess skills in Freight Transportation, including coordination with carriers, tracking shipments, and monitoring transit timelines.

Candidates should ideally have a diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, commerce, or a related field.

Candidates should demonstrate good organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office and basic logistics software.

Prior internship or 0–2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations will be an advantage.

Candidates should be able to work collaboratively in an on-site team setting and manage multiple tasks in a rapid-paced setting.
