Role Description The Executive VP – Construction Projects is a full time, in office leadership role based in Abroad, responsible for overseeing end-to-end planning and execution of construction initiatives linked to Esse India’s infrastructure and facilities. This position leads project teams, coordinates with external contractors and internal stakeholders, and ensures that all construction activities align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing project designs, approving budgets, monitoring timelines, conducting site inspections, and resolving operational issues to keep projects on track.

The role also involves negotiating with vendors, managing contracts, overseeing risk mitigation, and implementing best practices in construction management. The Executive VP is expected to provide strategic direction, mentor team members, and report regularly to senior leadership on project progress and financial performance.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in Construction and Construction Management,



with experience overseeing large, complex projects.

Robust Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and cross-functional coordination.

Proficiency in Budgeting and financial oversight for construction projects, ensuring cost control and value optimization.

Advanced Contract Negotiation skills, with experience managing agreements with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.

Proven leadership experience in senior-level construction or infrastructure roles, preferably within multi-site or corporate environments.

Knowledge of relevant construction regulations, safety standards, and permitting processes in India.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on ethical and inclusive leadership.
