Role & responsibilities
To ensure maintenance of discipline in and around the hostel.
To assist the hospital management on framing policies on the running of the hostels, messes and other facilities within the hostel.
To maintain records containing the details of personal information of the inmates.
To ensure that no ragging takes place in the hostels and maintain a ragging free setting.
To ensure safety and protection to the inmates of the hostel.
To monitor the movement of the inmates with a view to ensure protection and safety to them.
To provide homely atmosphere to the inmates of the hostel.
To provide valuable and hygienic food to the inmates.
To assist the inmates in availing medical facilities when they fall sick.
To advise the management regarding the deduction of mess fees, etc.,
To arrange for recreational facilities for the inmates in the hostel.
Advising the management for upgradation of facilities in the hostel.
To provide information and details on the maintenance of the hostel building.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
