Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and technically enthusiastic Fresher Mechanical Engineer to join our chemical manufacturing plant in Mahad. The candidate will work with the Maintenance and Engineering team and support the maintenance, troubleshooting and smooth operation of mechanical equipment and plant utilities.
Key Responsibilities
Support the maintenance team in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
Assist in the maintenance of pumps, compressors, agitators, reactors, gearboxes, valves and other mechanical equipment.
Support inspection and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
Assist in planned maintenance and equipment reliability activities.
Coordinate with Production, Electrical, Instrumentation, EHS and other departments.
Maintain maintenance records, checklists and equipment history.
Support the identification of equipment abnormalities and breakdown causes.
Assist in installation,
commissioning and modification of mechanical equipment.
Ensure maintenance work is carried out safely as per company procedures.
Follow all safety, EHS and chemical plant safety guidelines.
Support continuous improvement and equipment efficiency initiatives.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Mechanical Engineering concepts.
Knowledge of pumps, compressors, gearboxes, valves and rotating equipment.
Basic knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and maintenance tools.
Valuable problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work in a chemical manufacturing plant environment.
Basic knowledge of MS Office.
