Role Description The Executive Director – Logistics Network is a full-time, in office role based in Abroad, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations that support Esse India’s business activities. This role involves designing and optimizing the logistics network, managing warehouse and distribution activities, and aligning procurement with operational needs to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods and materials.

The Executive

Director will lead operations teams, set performance standards, monitor KPIs, and implement process improvements across supply chain and logistics functions. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with internal departments and external partners, managing vendor relationships, overseeing compliance with relevant regulations, and ensuring that logistics operations support service quality and organizational growth. The role also requires strategic planning, budgeting for logistics and operations, risk management, and mentoring team members to build solid, productive logistics capabilities.

Qualifications

Robust Supply Chain Management skills, including network design, demand planning,



and end-to-end process optimization.

Operations Management experience with a focus on workflow efficiency, quality control, and performance measurement.

Hands-on expertise in Warehouse Operations, including inventory management, storage planning, and distribution oversight.

Proficiency in Procurement and vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.

Advanced Logistics Management capabilities, including transportation planning, route optimization, and regulatory compliance.

Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, supported by data-driven approaches.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across business units.

Experience in service-oriented or consulting environments is an advantage.

Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Management, or a related field.
