About Our Client Our client is a leading player in the Oil and Gas and EPC sector with a robust presence in India and a large team of dedicated professionals. They are looking for General Counsel who shall report to the CXO and will manage a sound team. The role will be based out of Pune.
Provide proactive, in-depth, legal, business-focused advice to the business, balancing commercial needs and legal risks.
High Competence on Project Financing Matters and complex EPC contracts.
Ensure legal compliance and limit risk exposure.
Manage the company's legal function and oversee the work of team members.
Deal with complex, significant matters that cut across legal and related areas.
Create relations of trust with key partners and stakeholders.
Deliver high-quality legal advice in the Energy & Natural Resources sector,



Infra Sector and Manufacturing sector - Develop and lead the legal team.

The Successful

Applicant A successful General Counsel should have:
Proven experience as a legal counsel in the desired industries of Oil&Gas;, Energy and Power, Infrastructure, EPC.
Full comprehension of the influences of the external workplace of a corporation - Knowledge of corporate law and legal issues related to the regulated sectors - High degree of qualified ethics, integrity and gravitas - Excellent judgement and analytical skills - Ability to anticipate legal issues or risks What's on Offer Work with the Board consisting of Promoters and CXOs Excellent Work Culture
