Essential duties and responsibilities
Overseeing Clinical and Service Quality monitors across the hospital
Conduct internal and external audits as per the quality calendar and provides appropriate feedback to the departments by having management meetings.
Monitoring and tracking of all quality indicators for each department and provides appropriate feedback to concerned departments.
Co-ordinating in implementation of continuous quality improvement projects and clinical audits, so as to systematically evaluate and meet patient care needs
Revision of policies, procedures and SOPs in consultation with the departmental HODs as and when required
Analysis of incident reports using proper RCA tools and to plan action for the incidents.
Achieving, sustaining NABH, JCI and other accreditations
Monitoring and regulating committee meetings and minutes to be circulated to concerned members
Represent the department in committee meetings of the hospital.
Ensure the overall activities related to quality of the hospital to meet the requirement of quality management, health safety and legal stipulations
Design,
develops and implements the quality plan strategies that ensure effective and effective utilization of the department resources
Discuss the findings of the daily rounds done with the management
Conducting patient safety awareness programs
Regularly updating and incorporating recent guidelines in organization based on evidence-based practices, current literature on quality improvement.
Ensuring of quality assurance programme across the organization.
Verification and validation of quality indicators formulated.
Training of HCWs on continuous quality improvement aspect.
