Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly layouts.

Assemble Special Purpose

Machines (SPMs), jigs, fixtures, and automation systems. Fit mechanical components such as shafts, bearings, gears, guideways, cylinders, and motors. Perform drilling, tapping, reaming, grinding, and basic machining as required.

Align and level machine components to ensure proper functioning. Install pneumatic and hydraulic components as per design. Check dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, dial gauge, etc.).

Carry out machine trials and troubleshoot assembly issues. Repair, modify, and maintain machine assemblies when required. Coordinate with welders, machinists, electricians, and design engineers during assembly.

Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area. Follow quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies. Support machine installation and commissioning at customer sites, if required.
