Job Summary The F&B; Captain is responsible for supervising daily restaurant and banquet service operations, ensuring excellent guest satisfaction, maintaining service standards, and leading the service team to deliver a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of F&B; service staff during shifts.
Ensure smooth and efficient restaurant, room service, and banquet operations.
Welcome guests and ensure prompt, courteous, and skilled service.
Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints effectively.
Assist in table allocation and service planning.
Conduct daily briefings and assign duties to team members.
Monitor staff grooming, hygiene, attendance, and discipline.
Ensure proper setup of restaurant and banquet areas before service.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food delivery.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
Train and guide junior staff on service standards and procedures.
Monitor stock levels of operating supplies and report shortages.
Ensure accurate billing and proper use of POS systems.
Support upselling initiatives to increase food and beverage revenue.





Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service.
At least 1 year of experience as an F&B; Captain or Senior GSA.
Experience in a star hotel is preferred.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid leadership and team-handling abilities.
Knowledge of restaurant, buffet, and banquet service operations.
Familiarity with POS billing systems.
