A senior level engineer with experience in supporting Oracle databases on production setting . Role involves performing operational activities which includes administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, change requests . It is an operational role for Oracle database & Goldengate support for all the Enterprise-wide applications. The team provides Incident, Change and Request management support for the application using Oracle databases . In addition, this team does triage, service restoral, facilitation and co-ordination of root cause identification and permanent fix resolution.

Job Description
Responsible to handle the mission critical Oracle production databases and break fix the issues occurred in Production and Non-Production
Responsible to handle Changes in the production
Should be able to do Goldengate monitoring/configuration tasks
Should be able to work on OEM monitoring tools
Knowledge on Exadata and Performance Tuning is preferred
Should be able to analyze the root cause and follow the ways to provide the permanent fix.
He/ She should be familiar with handling client calls and customer issues.
Positive Hands-on Production workplace to handle issues.
Resolving critical issues on the fly.
Support application teams around messaging functionalists.
Excellent Communication skills both written spoken
Working in shifts and exploring the process related infrastructure quickly.
