Role Description The Flood Plain Management Expert will be responsible for assessing flood risks, analyzing hydrological and hydraulic data,



and developing floodplain management strategies for infrastructure and urban development projects. Day-to-day activities include preparing technical reports, maps, and models, supporting design teams with flood mitigation solutions, and advising on land use planning and regulatory compliance related to floodplains. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and government bodies to integrate risk reduction measures into project designs and policies.

This is a full time, in office position based in South Delhi, requiring regular coordination with project teams, site visits as needed, and participation in internal reviews and client meetings.

Requirements

Graduate in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering

Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM)

7+ years of relevant experience

Experience in at least 2 Riverfront/Floodplain Management projects

Project: Amaravati Riverfront Project (Master Plan, DPR & Implementation Support)
