Amity Global School, Noida is seeking a passionate and experienced Chemistry Facilitator to inspire students across the Middle and Senior School. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, an inquiry-driven teaching approach, and the ability to create engaging learning experiences aligned with international curricula.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and concept-based Chemistry lessons for Middle and Senior School students.
Plan, prepare, and implement lesson plans aligned with the IB (MYP/DP), Cambridge (CAIE), or both curricula.
Foster scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving through practical laboratory experiences and project-based learning.
Design and administer formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Maintain a safe and well-organized laboratory workplace while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and promote academic excellence.
Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
Mentor students in internal assessments, extended investigations, science exhibitions, and Olympiads where applicable.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning opportunities and curriculum enhancements.
Participate actively in school events, parent interactions, faculty meetings, and career development initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry from a recognized university (mandatory).
B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
IB (MYP/DP) and/or Cambridge (CAIE) curriculum training/certification is highly preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school.
Experience teaching Middle and Senior School Chemistry.
Strong laboratory management and practical teaching skills.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
