/ Responsibilities
Manage hatchery operations, including egg procurement, setting plans, chick hatching, and timely chick dispatch.
Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), biosecurity, hygiene, safety, and statutory requirements.
Oversee preventive maintenance, equipment calibration, and effective utilization of utilities such as electricity and water.
Monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and proper waste disposal across the hatchery, staff quarters, and surrounding premises.
Coordinate procurement of consumables, equipment, disinfectants, and verify material receipts and inventory records.
Lead, train, and develop hatchery staff while promoting company values, ethics, and performance accountability.
Conduct regular review meetings, set departmental targets, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions.
Prepare and submit operational reports to management,



and promptly report any critical issues or abnormalities.
Maintain effective coordination with internal departments, government authorities, suppliers, and transport teams to ensure smooth hatchery operations.

Desired profile of the candidate
5+ years of hatchery or poultry experience.
Sound knowledge of hatchery operations, incubation, chick quality, biosecurity, and SOP compliance.
Valuable leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage manpower, supervise teams, and ensure smooth unit operations.

Education qualification

UG: B.Sc. (Poultry Science, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Life Sciences) or Any Graduate with relevant hatchery experience.
