A. Key Roles & Responsibilities
Project Structuring & Advisory: Shape the strategic direction of Haryanas clean air project by advising on actionable, cross-departmental interventions, and submit the Annual Work Plan related to the project to the CEO/Joint CEO and the World Bank.
Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate convergence between departments such as Transport, Industry, Residential and Agriculture, technical agencies, research partners and lending-partner institutions to align initiatives and remove bottlenecks.
Team Management: End-to-end management of multiple work streams while leading a team of consultants, district project managers and specialists to achieve deliverables at speed and quality; act as a mentor responsible for the professional development of team members.
Creation of Sectoral Knowledge Bank: Oversee and build institutional knowledge of the key initiatives being undertaken by the Haryana government and the latest initiatives in India and beyond to improve air quality.
Organisation Development: Collaborate on recruitment, onboarding, and organisation development while fostering a values-driven, inclusive, and high-performance work culture.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and engage effectively with both internal teams and senior government stakeholdersverbally and in writing
Collaborative and strategic thinker, with professional presence, sound judgment, and drive towards organisation development
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, operational and problem-solving skills
Robust relationship-building skills while managing both internal dynamics and external partnerships with government officials, lending partners, and other key stakeholders

C. Qualification Criteria : Ph.D. or Masters degree in Atmospheric Science, Environmental Sciences, or Urban/Setting Planning from a recognised University or Skilled Institution recognised by Government. D. Experience Criteria: Minimum 7 years’ professional experience, including a substantial leadership role in managing large multi-sector projects or programmes (preferably Government or externally-aided projects).
