Looking for an experienced leader to head the Forwarding & Logistics business in India. The role is responsible for driving business growth, P&L;, customer acquisition, operational excellence, and leading cross-functional teams across Sales, Operations, and Customer Service.
Key Responsibilities
Drive business strategy, revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
Own the P&L; and achieve annual business targets.
Develop and manage key corporate accounts and acquire current customers.
Lead end-to-end Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Project Logistics operations.
Ensure operational excellence, compliance, and superior customer service.
Monitor collections, working capital, budgeting, and cost optimisation.
Build and mentor high-performing teams across functions.
Preferred candidate profile
15+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding & Logistics.
Solid experience in P&L; management and business leadership.
Established relationships with shipping lines and airlines.
Experience in Project Logistics and specialised cargo is preferred.
Proven track record in corporate account management and business development.
Strong commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
