Import & Export Executive (Bulk Container Handling)

Job Title: Import & Export Executive.

Reporting To

Manager Imports & Exports / Head Supply Chain

Position Overview The Import & Export Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end international trade operations, ensuring timely import of raw materials and export of finished goods through bulk containers. The role requires expertise in customs documentation, freight coordination, shipping line management, statutory compliance, and cost-effective logistics planning.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end import and export operations.
Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, CHAs, shipping lines and transporters.
Prepare and verify import/export documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, Certificate of Origin, LC documents).
Ensure compliance with Customs, DGFT, FEMA,



RBI and GST regulations.
Handle bulk container booking, stuffing, de-stuffing, sealing and movement.
Monitor demurrage, detention, transit and container utilisation.
Coordinate with ports, ICDs, CFS and internal stakeholders.
Prepare MIS reports and logistics cost analysis.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field. EXIM certification preferred.

Experience

38 years of experience in import/export operations with bulk container handling exposure in manufacturing industries.

Technical Skills

EXIM documentation, Customs clearance, SAP, MS Excel, freight coordination, shipping documentation
