Roles and Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced ETL Operations Team Lead to manage production support activities within our Offshore Development Center (ODC). The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with proven leadership and stakeholder management skills to ensure seamless delivery and operational excellence.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the ETL operations team, ensuring explicit communication and alignment on priorities.
Delivery & Operational Management: Oversee daily production support activities, ensuring SLAs are met and incidents are resolved promptly.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of ETL support engineers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
ETL Operations: Manage and optimize ETL workflows, ensuring data pipelines are productive, reliable, and scalable.
Automation & Optimization: Drive initiatives to automate repetitive tasks, improve system performance, and reduce manual intervention.
Incident & Problem Management: Handle escalations, root cause analysis, and long-term fixes for recurring issues.
Skills and Expertise: Overall 8+ Years of experience and a minimum of 3 years as a Team Lead in production support or ETL operations.
Strong L2/L3 support; hands-on experience is required
Technical Expertise
Snowflake – Data warehousing and query optimization
SQL – Strong query writing and performance tuning
Unix – Shell scripting and system operations
Informatica – ETL workflows, optimization, automation, and support
Soft Skills: Robust communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven track record in ETL production support and team management.
Experience in automation initiatives and process optimization.
