Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Laundry Manager role based in Mumbai.

The Laundry

Manager oversees daily operations of the laundry department, ensuring timely, hygienic, and high-quality processing of linens, uniforms, and other hospital textiles.

Responsibilities include planning and assigning work schedules, supervising laundry staff, monitoring equipment performance, and implementing safety and infection control standards. The role involves managing inventory and supplies, coordinating with clinical and administrative teams to meet service expectations,



and maintaining accurate records of usage and costs.

The Laundry

Manager also supports continuous process improvements, handles escalated service issues, and ensures compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

Demonstrated supervisory skills, including team leadership, training, and performance monitoring.

Strong experience in laundry services and laundry operations, preferably in hospital or healthcare settings.

Ability to manage budgeting and cost control related to laundry operations and consumables.

Solid customer service skills for coordinating with internal stakeholders and resolving service concerns.

Knowledge of hygiene, infection control, and safety standards in healthcare environments.

Positive organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and quality.

Proficiency in basic computer applications and record-keeping for tracking usage, costs, and performance.

Relevant diploma or degree in hospitality, facility management, or a related field; prior hospital experience is an advantage.
