We are looking for a Diploma holder in Electronics to join our R&D; department. The selected candidate will work closely with our R&D; engineers on current product development and design documentation. Training on PADS will be provided to candidates with a robust drafting and electronics fundamentals background.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist R&D; engineers in day-to-day design, development and testing activities
Prepare and modify circuit diagrams and schematics using PADS (training provided if required)
Support PCB layout activities and maintain design documentation
Create and edit mechanical/enclosure drawings using AutoCAD
Assist in prototype assembly, testing and troubleshooting of electronic circuits
Maintain records of components, BOMs and revision history
Required Skills:
Diploma in Electronics or related discipline
Working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D drafting) mandatory
Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits and measuring instruments
Aptitude and willingness to learn PCB design software (PADS); candidates with experience in any schematic/PCB tool such as PADS, Altium, OrCAD, Eagle or KiCad are encouraged to apply
Good documentation skills and a learning mindset
Preferred:
Prior hands-on experience with PADS or any PCB design tool
Prior experience in an R&D; or product design workplace
Familiarity with PCB fabrication and assembly processes
