Roles and Responsibilities
Supply Chain Management-harmonizing and monitoring supply chain operations
Handling dispatch activities namely; preparing dispatch schedule, arranging dispatch of
finished goods to Warehouses/ Depots /Customers
Responsible for arranging transportation in coordination with Logistics/Supply Chain
(International/Domestic Shipments)
Troubleshooting any concern related to international freight transportation freight
charges from CHA
Arranging loading of goods with contract workers, and dispatching invoices/documents
to customers
Coordinating with Production/QC and coordinating with Marketing/Sales Executives
for urgent requirements
Coordinating with transport and courier companies| Supervising receiving and
warehousing procedures
Working with existing transportation suppliers on optimal delivery rate and routing
Keeping detailed records on procurement activity, materials quantity,
specifications,
etc.
Ensuring that internal teams recommend the most advantageous transportation
modes, routing, equipment or frequency
Reporting to upper management on stock levels, issues, etc.
Freight Bills check for all international couriers
GSP issue
EP Copy drawbacks claim
Updates regarding status of shipment to sales team
Guard Supervision Checking al registers – In-coming, outgoing, sample etc.
Driver & car related – Coordination with driver & car repairs
IT related works – CCTV & computer hardware (as & when required)
Quality Checking – Final checking packaging & couriers before dispatch
Transportation to factory (van) – as & when required Role & responsibilities
