Role & responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:
Hands-on experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the reliability of solar cell manufacturing equipment, including wet benches, diffusion furnaces, PECVD/ARC systems, screen printers, firing furnaces, and testing tools.
Plan, execute, and monitor preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities for solar cell process equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including motors, VFDs, sensors, heaters, SSRs, relays, power supplies, and PLC/HMI systems.
Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance on pumps, valves, conveyors, bearings, cylinders, and pressure regulators.
Support automation and control systems by conducting fault diagnostics and logic checks.




Conduct root cause analysis of recurring breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, PM schedules, equipment history, and spare parts logs.
Coordinate with Process, Production, Utility, and Quality teams to ensure equipment readiness and process stability.
Ensure compliance with EHS standards, chemical and electrical safety protocols, LOTO procedures, 5S practices, and internal quality standards.
