Role Description The Instructional Designer role at Apposite is a contract, on-site position based in Chennai. The individual in this role will design and develop engaging learning content, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, assessments, and job aids.

Responsibilities include conducting needs analyses, collaborating with subject matter experts, and aligning learning solutions with business goals and learner profiles.

The Instructional

Designer will structure content using sound instructional design principles, select appropriate learning technologies, and ensure materials are user-friendly and measurable through learning analytics. The role also involves revising content based on feedback, maintaining documentation, and supporting continuous improvement of Apposite’s learning solutions and products such as ACUME.

Qualifications
Robust instructional design and curriculum development skills, including experience with adult learning principles and learning theories.
Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and learning technologies (e.g., LMS platforms, multimedia tools,



and basic graphic or video editing software).
Ability to conduct training needs analysis, define learning objectives, and design assessments that measure learning outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and create clear, engaging learning content.
Experience collaborating with subject matter experts, project stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in fast-paced settings.
Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines on a contract basis.
Comfort working on-site in Chennai and engaging directly with teams and clients as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field; relevant certifications in instructional design or learning technologies are a plus.
Experience in corporate learning, workforce development, or technology-enabled training environments is advantageous.
