Position: Interventional Cardiologist (Male/Female)

Location: Bhavnagar, Gujarat

Qualification: MBBS + MD/DNB (General Medicine) + DM/DNB (Cardiology)

Experience: 1 to 5 Yrs (Post DM/DNB experience preferred)
Valid NMC / State Medical Council Registration is mandatory.
Hands-on experience in independently performing Coronary Angiography and Coronary Angioplasty.
Experience in managing Cath Lab procedures and emergency cardiac interventions.
Robust expertise in invasive and non-invasive cardiology.
Ability to manage critically ill cardiac patients independently.
Excellent clinical decision-making, communication, and patient counselling skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals will be an added advantage.
Immediate joiners and candidates willing to relocate will be preferred.

Role & Responsibilities
Diagnose, evaluate, and manage patients with cardiovascular and peripheral vascular diseases.
Conduct OPD and IPD consultations independently for cardiac patients.
Perform and interpret ECG, 2D Echo, TMT, Holter Monitoring, Stress Echo, and other non-invasive cardiac investigations.
Independently perform interventional cardiac procedures including:




Coronary Angiography (CAG)
Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA/PCI)
Primary PCI (STEMI)
Temporary & Permanent Pacemaker Implantation
Peripheral Angiography & Angioplasty (where applicable)
Device closures and other interventions as per expertise.
Manage emergency cardiac cases including Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiogenic shock, arrhythmias, heart failure, and cardiac arrest.
Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-procedure patient care.
Coordinate with ICU, Emergency, Cardiac OT, Cath Lab, Anaesthesia, and other clinical departments for seamless patient management.
Ensure secure Cath Lab practices and adherence to infection control, radiation safety, and NABH protocols.
Maintain accurate medical records, procedure notes, and clinical documentation.
Counsel patients and their families regarding procedures, treatment options, risks, and follow-up care.
Participate in clinical audits, CMEs, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental academic activities.
Support hospital outreach programs, health camps, and community awareness initiatives when required.
