Role Description This full time, on-site Junior Mechanical Design Engineer role is based in Surat. The engineer will support the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies for diagnostic devices, including concept generation, detailed design, and design optimization. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating 3D models and engineering drawings, performing basic calculations and tolerance analyses, and assisting in prototype build, testing, and design iterations.





The role involves close collaboration with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet functional, safety, manufacturability, and cost requirements. The engineer will also help document design decisions, prepare technical reports, and support continuous improvement of existing products.

Key Responsibilities: Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings using CAD software (Fusion

360 preferred).

Assist in the design and development of plastic, sheet metal, and machined components.

Support prototype development, assembly, and design validation.

Prepare engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.

Coordinate with manufacturing and vendors during product development.

Required Skills: Basic knowledge of CAD software (2D and 3D).

Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T; fundamentals

Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, and plastic molding.

Basic understanding of mechanical components including gears, bearings, springs, and fasteners.
