A) Role & responsibilities
Lead a team of knowledge associate(s) and graphic designer(s) to develop and implement communications strategy to build visibility, credibility, and public engagement across platforms on impactful government initiatives.
Lead institutional branding and storytelling efforts by translating technical initiatives into compelling narratives that highlight outcomes and citizen impact.
Design and manage a state-level knowledge hub that archives government best practices, programme documentation, case studies, and visual content for internal learning and external dissemination.
Publicise government success stories and reforms through press releases, articles, digital campaigns, publications, and event showcasesamplifying Haryanas development initiatives.
Oversee creation of communication assets, including newsletters, reports, decks, social media posts, videos, and knowledge products tailored to various audiences.
Promote a culture of documentation, transparency, and learning within and supported departments through structured reporting and dissemination practices.

B) Preferred candidate profile
High-performing individual with a robust academic background and a consistent track record of excellence in relevant work experience




Strong commitment to public purpose and demonstrated interest in the social impact and governance space
Proven ability to distil complex policy and programmatic content into engaging narratives for diverse audiences
Experience in managing media relations, public campaigns, and high-level event communications
Familiarity with content tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite), website/social media management, and knowledge repository platforms
Strategic and collaborative thinker with solid attention to detail, creativity, and a deep commitment to public purpose

C) Education Masters degree in Mass Communication, Journalism or Public Relations from a recognized University or Skilled Institution recognized by Government.

D) Experience

Minimum 7 years experience in communications and knowledge management, including strategy development for content and publications, preferably in Government or large organizations; excellent written and verbal communication; ability to distil and disseminate information for diverse stakeholders; media relations and public outreach; and proficiency in publication tools and social media .
