We are looking for a motivated Junior QA to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing, a passion for quality assurance, and a willingness to learn both manual and automation testing.
Key Responsibilities
Understand project requirements and assist in preparing test cases and test scenarios.
Perform manual testing to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues.
Execute functional, regression, and smoke testing.
Conduct basic API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
Assist in creating and maintaining automation test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
Report, track, and verify defects using Zoho Sprints or similar bug-tracking tools.
Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues.
Validate fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Maintain testing documentation and ensure test coverage.
Requirements
0–1 year of experience in Software Testing (Freshers with relevant internship/project experience are welcome).
Basic understanding of Manual Testing concepts and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Familiarity with writing and executing test cases.
Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman or Swagger.
Exposure to Playwright and TypeScript is preferred.
Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Positive verbal and written communication skills.
Eagerness to learn current testing tools and technologies.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and a team player.
