Role Description:

The Intern role at One Eight Kōbō is a remote internship focused on supporting brand, product, and digital design projects. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with research on clients and target audiences, helping create and organize design assets, and contributing to brainstorms and concept development under guidance from senior team members. The intern may support documentation of project workflows, prepare presentation materials, and help maintain project files and internal knowledge resources.

This role offers exposure to a studio setting where design is treated as a system, and the intern is encouraged to ask questions, share ideas,



and learn from feedback.

Qualifications
Interest in brand, product, or digital design and a basic understanding of contemporary design practices.
Ability to conduct structured research on businesses, users, and markets, and summarize findings clearly.
Solid written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity, organization, and detail.
Comfort with design and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Notion, or similar), or willingness to learn.
Organized work habits, reliability in meeting deadlines, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Curiosity, openness to feedback, and an interest in learning how design systems are built and refined.
Current student or recent graduate in a related field (design, architecture, visual communication, or similar) preferred, but not required.
