Qualification
Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) – Mandatory
Valid Registration with the Delhi Paramedical Council/Competent Regulatory Authority
Experience
2–5 years of experience in a hospital diagnostic laboratory.
Experience working in an NABH-accredited hospital/medical laboratory is mandatory.
Salary Negotiable based on relevant experience, market standards, NABH exposure, technical skills, and overall competency.
Job Summary To perform laboratory investigations accurately and efficiently, maintain laboratory equipment and records, ensure quality control, and comply with hospital policies, infection control practices, biomedical waste management guidelines, and NABH standards.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, label, process, and handle patient specimens safely.
Perform laboratory investigations as per SOPs and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Maintain quality control records, laboratory registers, and equipment logbooks.
Operate, clean, and perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Follow infection control, biomedical waste management, and laboratory safety protocols.
Monitor laboratory reagents and consumables and report shortages.
Immediately report abnormal test results and equipment malfunctions to the Lab Incharge.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory records.
Participate in training programs, internal audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Lab Incharge, HR & Administration Head, or Hospital Management.
Skills Required
Sound knowledge of laboratory procedures and diagnostic equipment.
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).
Positive communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Knowledge of NABH standards related to laboratory services.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Accuracy of laboratory test results.
Timely reporting (Turnaround Time - TAT).
Compliance with quality control procedures.
Documentation accuracy and completeness.
Equipment maintenance compliance.
Compliance with NABH, Infection Control, and Biomedical Waste Management guidelines.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
