Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Assortment Planning: Define and manage product mix aligned to consumer demand and brand positioning.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, ensure optimal replenishment, and minimize ageing inventory.
Sell-through & Margin Management: Track category performance, drive sell-through, and optimize margins through effective discounting strategies.
Budgeting & Financial Planning: Prepare annual merchandise budgets, sales forecasts, and margin targets; monitor adherence and variances.
Promotions & Discounting: Plan and execute promotional strategies to balance revenue growth with profitability.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, sourcing, retail operations, and marketing to ensure merchandise strategies are executed seamlessly.
Team Leadership:



Mentor and guide junior merchandisers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Desired Profile
Minimum experience of 7+ years in Retail sector with solid understanding of fashion retail planning with proven experience in assortment and inventory management.
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and translate into actionable strategies.
Commercial acumen in margin management, discounting, and financial planning.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Mid-level merchandising experience in apparel/fashion retail preferred.
