Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Test Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team in Chennai. This role is ideal for freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are passionate about software testing and eager to build a career in Quality Assurance.
Key Responsibilities
Execute manual test cases and document test results.
Identify, report, and track software defects.
Perform regression, functional, and system testing.
Verify bug fixes and ensure software quality.
Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
Collaborate with developers and QA team to resolve issues.
Ensure applications meet functional and quality standards.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Manual Testing.
Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Knowledge of Test Case Design and Defect Life Cycle.
Basic SQL knowledge is an advantage.
Familiarity with Jira, Bugzilla, or similar bug-tracking tools is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Eligibility
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (B.E./B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc/MCA/M.Sc IT).
Freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply.
Software Testing certification is an added advantage.
