Role & responsibilities
Maintain double side lapping and polishing machines (top & bottom plates) and surface finish machines.
Inspect and maintain sun gear, ring gear, carriers, spindles, and drive systems.
Ensure proper alignment and parallelism of top and bottom plates and Maintain pressure, speed, and timing accuracy of machine mechanisms Ensure proper functioning of PLC panels, sensors,safety interlocks, valves, and safety systems.
Maintain bearings, gearboxes, belts, chains, couplings, and shafts Develop and follow PM schedules and checklists and train technicians.
Ensure machine safety, LOTO compliance, statutory checks and 5S practices Collaborate with Quality, Production, and other Cross functional teams to validate processes and implement engineering changes in terms of Kaizen, Cost Saving, Man power Optimization and Poka Yoke effectively.
Support installation,



commissioning, and acceptance of current equipment.
Maintain spares inventory, Critical spare parts, maintenance logs, checklists, and SOPs.
Lead root cause analysis of machine breakdowns and process issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Preferred candidate profile
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics. Others please don't apply.
3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in lapping & polishing machine maintenance.
Robust knowledge of double side lapping & polishing machine mechanisms, Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and willing to work in shifts.
