:

The Software Quality Assurance Engineer supports the Software Development Team in process development, improvement, and adherence. This includes leading the software teams efforts in CMMI process maturity and audits. The Software Quality Assurance Engineer also leads the process and quality assurance activities, and supports the software project teams in planning and executing software quality related deliverables.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Leads department activities in development of CMMI compliant processes and procedures. Leads department activities for CMMI SAMPI audits.
Leads department activities for process and product quality assurance (PPQA).
Supports software project managers and software teams with planning software quality related activities.
Regularly monitors review and audit information, products, support documents, and deliverables.




Assists software project teams with investigating customer issues and root causes

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in embedded software/firmware
Thorough and detailed understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (Waterfall, Prototype, Agile, etc.)
Experience in C/C++ embedded development
ASPICE Experience is a MUST
Confident team player motivated by a rapid-paced workplace
Robust analytical, communication, and presentation skills
CMMI Software process development and improvement required
CMMI SCAMPI Appraisal experience preferred

Automobile Industry Experience domain preferred
