Role Description The MEP Draftperson role is a full time, in office position based in Patna. The role involves preparing detailed Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drawings, layouts, and schematics in accordance with project specifications, standards, and codes.

Daily responsibilities include converting engineering concepts into clear technical drawings, updating and revising drawings based on engineer and site feedback, and coordinating with project engineers and site teams to resolve design and layout issues. The MEP Draftperson will use CAD software to produce accurate drawings, maintain organized drawing records,



and ensure that all documentation supports productive construction and installation activities.

Qualifications
Robust skills in Mechanical Drawings and Engineering Drawings, with the ability to translate MEP concepts into precise layouts and details.
Proficiency in Technical Drawing, including understanding of scales, symbols, and drafting standards relevant to MEP projects.
Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools such as AutoCAD or similar software for creating and modifying MEP drawings.
Knowledge of Design Engineering principles related to building services, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent technical qualification.
Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and safety practices for MEP design and installation.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings; strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers, supervisors, and site teams, and capacity to meet project deadlines.
