A) Role & responsibilities
MDB Engagement and Coordination: Serve as the principal point of coordination with Multilateral Development Banks and State/Central Government departments across the project lifecycle, aligning expectations and resolving structuring issues.
Project Structuring and Documentation: Lead the preparation of project documents, concept notes, technical notes, RFPs and institutional frameworks for externally aided projects, ensuring quality and alignment with MDB requirements.
Institutional Strengthening: Strengthen governance, fiduciary and operational systems to enable rapid onboarding and effective delivery of externally aided programmes.
Stakeholder Management: Build and manage relationships with government departments, partner institutions and MDBs to enable convergence and unblock implementation bottlenecks.
Knowledge and Advisory: Advise leadership on structuring options, institutional design and partnership frameworks; contribute to institutional knowledge on externally aided projects.

High-performing individual with a solid academic background and a consistent track record of excellence in relevant work experience
Robust commitment to public purpose and demonstrated interest in the social impact and governance space




Demonstrated experience in coordination with Multilateral Development Banks and State/Central Government departments
Strong understanding of institutional structuring, fiduciary frameworks and externally aided project design
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and engage effectively with both internal teams and senior government stakeholders verbally and in writing
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, operational and problem-solving skills

C) Education Post-graduate degree in Law, Public Policy, Economics, Governance or a related discipline from a recognized University or Professional Institution recognized by Government.

D) Experience

Minimum 7 years relevant skilled experience in public-sector advisory, governance, institutional strengthening or externally aided project support; demonstrated experience in coordination with Multilateral Development Banks and State or Central Government departments is required; experience in preparing project documents, technical notes, RFPs or institutional frameworks for externally aided projects is desirable.
