Purpose of the role
Backend enabler for planning, reporting, and operational efficiency across Up-to-date Trade. The role acts as the single owner for data integrity, forecasting, stock visibility, and commercial hygiene, enabling KAMs to take faster, better decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Data, Forecasting & Sales Analytics
Own demand forecasting at chain / DC / SKU level in partnership with KAMs and Supply Chain.
Build and maintain sales dashboards covering secondary sales, trends, growth/degrowth, store level offtakes and productivity metrics.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all MT reports and systems.
Act as the SPOC for MT analytics requirements (Power BI / Excel / ERP extracts)
Supply Chain & Stock Allocation Coordination
Work closely with Supply Chain / Planning teams on:
DCwise and chainwise stock allocation
Replenishment planning and exception management
Track and highlight fillrate gaps, OOS risks,
and excess inventory proactively.
Drive actions on slowmoving and ageing stock with KAMs and ABMs.
Commercial Operations, Claims & Hygiene
Manage claims, payouts, scheme reconciliations, and dispute resolution with Finance and Accenture team
Own system hygiene
Schemes, price lists, customer masters
Alignment between ERP, claims systems, and sales reports
KAM Enablement & Decision Support
Provide readytouse dashboards for KAMs covering:
Fill rate & service level
Stock ageing & cover
Scheme performance & postpromo analysis
Support KAMs during JBP reviews, customer negotiations, and internal reviews with databacked insights.
Ideal Profile
5–8 years in Sales Operations / Analytics / Demand Planning in FMCG / Consumer Healthcare
Strong working knowledge of Modern Trade and chain/DCbased models
High proficiency in Excel, Power BI, ERP/SAP extracts
Robust crossfunctional coordination skills (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance)
