Indians do not require a visa to visit Nepal. Nepal offers visa-free access for Indians. Indians need to carry a valid passport, voter ID, Emergency Certificate issued by the Embassy of India, Kathmandu, or Identity Certificate issued by the Embassy of India, Kathmandu, while visiting Nepal.
Travellers above the age of 65 and below the age of 15 can travel to Nepal without any of the above documents, but should be able to produce a government ID with their photo on it. For travellers between the ages of 15 and 18, an identity card can be provided by the principal of the school in the prescribed performa.
