Job Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures.
Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and bills of materials to ensure accurate builds.
Perform precision mechanical assembly of shafts, bearings, seals, gears, motors, actuators, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Conduct in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify tolerances.
Troubleshoot mechanical fit, alignment, and function issues, escalating complex problems to engineering.
Document assembly processes, inspection results, and non-conformance reports.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work workplace.
Qualifications
High school diploma or technical certification in mechanical or industrial technology.
2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing preferred.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
Proficiency with hand tools, torque wrenches, presses, and measurement instruments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
