Key Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using AutoCAD and PTC Creo . Create detailed 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation. Manage product development activities, including design, prototyping, testing, and validation.
Develop and improve jigs and fixtures to reduce cycle time and enhance product quality. Work closely with the Production and Design & Development (D&D;) teams to ensure smooth product implementation. Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
Prepare and evaluate material samples for product development. Define manufacturing process guidelines to achieve optimum functionality and quality standards. Possess a positive understanding of CNC and VMC machines, machining operations, and production planning.
Select and recommend appropriate cutting tools for manufacturing operations.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in production processes and implement effective solutions. Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
Required Skills &
Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Solid knowledge of mechanical design and production engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD and PTC Creo for 2D drafting and 3D modeling. Valuable understanding of CNC/VMC machining processes and manufacturing operations.
Experience in product development, prototyping, and testing. Knowledge of jig and fixture design. Familiarity with cutting tools and machining parameters. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Creative thinking with the ability to conceptualize and develop innovative mechanical designs.
