Paintshop Production Engineer Paint Operations Leadership Our manufacturing facility 's "Surface Integrity Architect " and "Coating Quality Authority " is the Paintshop Production Engineer. Managing the daily chemical pretreatment, electrodeposition ED, priming, and top/-coat painting procedures along an automated or semi/-automated conveyorized finishing line is your main responsibility. Serving as the "Aesthetic & Anti/-Corrosion Guardian, " you optimize first/-run pass rates and guarantee a flawless finish by bridging chemical science and mechanical automation.

An nimble, hands/-on coating qualified with a disciplined understanding of robotic/pneumatic spray applicators, line balance, thermal curing profiles, and shop/-floor environmental safety regulations is the ideal candidate.

Key Duties/: Pretreatment, electrodeposition, primer coatings, sealer application, and final top/-coat/explicit/-coat spray booths should all be planned and carried out throughout daily paintshop shift runs.

Baking Oven Thermal Tuning/:



To ensure appropriate cross/-linking and paint hardness, calibrate and audit curing oven thermal profiles while monitoring temperature curves over time. Robotic & Pneumatic Atomizer Calibration/: To obtain consistent paint thicknesses, set up automated spray parameters, optimize fluid flow delivery volumes, atomize air pressures, and shape air boundaries. SurfaceDefect Root/-Cause Elimination/: Using 8D and 5/-Why techniques, lead problem/-solving tracks to identify and eliminate finish flaws such dirt inclusions, orange peel textures, paint runs, craters, pinholes, and adhesive failures.
