Role Description This is an in office Mechanical Draftsman contract role based in Kalyan.

The Mechanical

Draftsman will produce precise mechanical and engineering drawings, translating design concepts and specifications into detailed technical documentation. Daily responsibilities include preparing and revising CAD drawings, ensuring adherence to standards, and coordinating with engineers and designers to clarify requirements and resolve design issues. The role involves organizing drawing files, maintaining version control, and supporting the project team with accurate layouts, assemblies, and part details.

The Mechanical





Draftsman will also participate in design reviews, check drawings for completeness and accuracy, and contribute to continuous improvement of drafting practices and templates.

Qualifications
Strong ability to create and interpret Mechanical Drawings and Engineering Drawings for components, assemblies, and systems.
Proficiency in Technical Drawing, including dimensioning, tolerances, and drafting standards.
Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools commonly used for mechanical drafting.
Understanding of Design Engineering principles to ensure drawings are feasible and align with functional requirements.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and ability to follow industry and company standards.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary design and engineering teams.
Experience with manufacturing processes, materials, and shop-floor documentation is an advantage.
Ability to manage multiple drawing tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving project needs.
