The Department
Mathematics The Department of Mathematics was established in the year 1956, the year of establishment of the Institute. The department caters to the mathematical needs of the institute namely, it offers course for all the UG, PG and research programs, in the field of mathematics, science and humanities. The department holds research program leading to Ph.D in Mathematical Sciences, Engineering Sciences and Applied Sciences.
It has conduct three international conferences during 1971,1981 and 2014. The department completed one UGC funded research project.

Imbibe the students with world class academic and Innovative research ideas.
Identify exact avenues in the real world to apply Mathematical concepts.
Establish a network between Engineering and Society.
Mission To Impart robust Mathematical foundation to Engineering graduates.
To motivate the youngsters to acquire a strong desire to achieve goals in the right direction.
