We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Engineer – Security Assessments with 3+ years of experience in Vulnerability Assessment and security auditing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying security vulnerabilities, conducting configuration reviews, recommending remediation measures, and strengthening the organization's overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Vulnerability Assessments (VA) using Nessus Security Center.
Perform configuration audits and security compliance reviews.
Assess and validate security controls across: Windows, Linux, and Custom Operating Systems
Web Servers and Middleware
Databases
Network Devices (Switches, Routers)
Security Devices (Firewalls, IPS/IDS, etc.)
Storage Devices
Perform Windows and Linux OS Hardening using Nessus findings and security best practices.
Analyze vulnerabilities and provide remediation recommendations.
Prepare security assessment reports and track remediation activities.
Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to mitigate security risks.
Required Skills
3+ years of experience in Vulnerability Assessment and Security Audits.
Hands-on experience with Nessus Security Center (Mandatory).
Experience in configuration auditing and security hardening.
Knowledge of: Windows & Linux Security
Middleware/Web Server Hardening
Database Security
Network & Security Device Assessments
Storage Security
Understanding of security standards and best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
