Role Description This is a full-time, in office Mechanical Engineer role based in Durg.

The Mechanical

Engineer will support construction and infrastructure projects by designing and reviewing mechanical systems, components, and equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and updating mechanical drawings, coordinating with project managers and site teams, overseeing installation and maintenance of mechanical systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role also involves performing technical calculations, troubleshooting equipment issues, participating in research and development activities, and documenting project progress.

Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and optimize resource utilization.

Qualifications
Robust foundation in Mechanical Engineering with experience applying core principles to construction or industrial projects.
Proficiency in Machine Design and mechanical component selection for systems used in construction environments.
Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying mechanical drawings and layouts.
Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, coordination with site teams, and monitoring execution.
Ability to contribute to Research and Development (R&D;) activities aimed at improving mechanical systems, processes, and efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control practices.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
Prior experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects is an advantage.
