Role & responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools.
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand business requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
Participate in requirement analysis and provide inputs for testability and quality improvements.
Execute API, database, and performance testing as required.
Ensure adherence to QA processes, testing standards, and best practices.
Leverage AI-powered testing tools to improve testing efficiency and productivity.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Preferred candidate profile




5 to 8 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
Strong expertise in Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
Robust knowledge of SQL and database validation.
Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
Valuable understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
Basic scripting knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter is an added advantage.
Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and up-to-date QA practices.
