This is a full time hybrid role for a junior Microbiologist position based in India working for our Chief Scientific Officer. As a Microbiologist, you will be responsible for performing case studies in sectors such as pharma, healthcare, food and beverage industries guided by the CSO and DECX management. This may require on-site visits pan-India, running tests on-site at the customer facilities.

This role requires both on-site presence in Hyderabad and the flexibility to work throughout India with periodic visits abroad.

Key Responsibilities

As a basic requirement to ensure safety and competency in the use of the equipment, it will be mandatory immediately upon starting to pass the one-day Cleamix Certified training course regarding the equipment handling and safety protocols.

vH2O2 Bio decontamination:

Plan and execute vH2O2 decontamination cycles in hospitals, lab spaces and pharma production areas.





Operate the equipment following safety procedures and guidelines at all times. Able to autonomously set-up and use the equipment competently.

Work with other colleagues to trouble-shoot and optimise results in a team based on a team-oriented approach to solving issues and analysing results.

Verify decontamination effectiveness through biological indicators and environmental monitoring.

Qualifications

Robust research attitude and suited to working in a start-up culture

Excellent communication skills

Experience with microbiological test procedures

Preferred degree

BSc, Btech,MSc in Life sciences/ biomedical sciences.

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial:

Knowledge of bio-decontamination technologies

Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry

Degree in a technical or scientific field.
