Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Operation Theatre Assistant to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing the operation theatre, maintaining sterile conditions, supporting surgeons and nursing staff during procedures, and ensuring the smooth functioning of OT operations.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare the operation theatre before surgeries.
Sterilize and arrange surgical instruments and equipment.
Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
Transfer and position patients safely before and after surgery.
Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in the OT.
Check and prepare OT equipment before procedures.
Monitor and replenish surgical supplies and consumables.
Dispose of biomedical waste according to hospital protocols.
Maintain accurate records of OT instruments and supplies.





Requirements
Diploma/Certificate in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or relevant healthcare qualification.
Freshers or experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
Knowledge of OT protocols, sterilisation, and infection control practices.
Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in rotational shifts.

Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of surgical instruments and OT equipment.
Ability to work under pressure in a rapid-paced environment.
Robust attention to detail and patient safety.
